High School Shinny Hockey at Bavis Arena

The popular High School Shinny Hockey is back at Bavis Arena

Starting May 10^th through August 31^st

 come work on your skills every Friday and Saturday night

 Cost per skater: $20.00 per session

* If you’re a ProEvolution Member it’s $15.00 per session

 Friday Time: 8:10 PM – 9:40 PM

Saturday Time: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Our intent is to provide area hockey players with a safe place to come on weekend nights where they can have fun and work on their hockey skills.  We will not tolerate any behavior that conflicts with this philosophy therefore the following rules are strictly enforced:

• ALL SKATERS MUST SIGN WAIVER PRIOR TO STEPPING ON THE ICE.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
• WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY WHEN IT COMES TO:
  • DRUG/ALCOHOL USE IN ANY WAY
  • BULLYING OF ANY KIND (VERBAL OR PHYSICAL)
  • FIGHTING
  • UNSAFE/WRECKLESS BEHAVIOR OF ANY KIND IN THE LOCKERS OR ON THE ICE
  • DESTRUCTION OF RINK PROPERTY OF ANY KIND
  • DISOBEDIENCE/DISRESPECT OF SHINNY HOCKEY COORDINATOR OR ANY RINK EMPLOYEE
  • Failure to comply with and/or any violation of these rules shall result in a suspension from the facility of up to one year.

SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR OUR GLOBAL HOCKEY MITE PARTICIPANTS

ATTENTION MITE PARENTS:
Because of the phenomenal turn out for our mite try outs we have added a team so I appreciate everyone’s patience as it relates to announcing the rosters for the Global Mites.  Again, this season will be 25 FULL ICE games and Global players will also get one practice and one skills session every week.  Tuition for Global players is $1500.

We are also offering a “game only” option where individual players can register to play in games only.  That tuition is $399 per player.  Those players will be placed on a team and receive a jersey but no skills or practices comes with that option.

We are currently finalizing these teams to keep some parity among them but once they are set we will email everyone and post rosters on this site.  Also, if you know of any players that want to play game only, please feel free to have them contact Mark Bradley at mbradleybjt@gmail.com.

Global Hockey is excited to announce that the Global Hockey League at Bavis Arena will participate in the newly formed Eastern Minor Hockey League for the 2013-14 season.

We think many of our Global players can benefit from this new league as it will help prepare our players for that "next level" of competition.  There will be a North division consisting of: the Minuteman Flames, Middlesex Islanders, Top Gun, New England Falcons, New England Bulldogs, and the New England Predators.  Our Global Selects teams will play out of Bavis Arena in the South Division along with: the Bay State Breakers, Boston Bandits, Edgewood Hawks, Mass Mustangs, and the South Shore Conquistadors.
