GLOBAL HOCKEY DEFENSEMAN CAMP |
| The Global Hockey Defenseman
Camp was a great success. All skaters worked hard all
week long and improved tremendously. The focus of the
camp was to improve backwards skating, puck handling,
shooting, positioning, angling, etc. We utilized rink
B to work on defenseman specific agility drills as well
as shooting and stick handling. Players were lucky enough
to meet current NHL Defenseman Keith Yandle (Phoenix Coyotes),
Josh Hennessey (Ottawa Senators) and former player and
current NY Islanders scout Chris O'Sullivan (Ducks, Flames).
Dave Warsofski captain of Boston University who was recently
traded to the Boston Bruins worked with campers all week.
